
Several people, including myself, are just getting into running as a medium of exercise and relaxation. Our goal is to start off running the Jack O’ Lantern 5K on October 31st in Baton Rouge Louisiana.
This gives us plenty of time to work towards that goal utilizing the Couch to 5k (C25K) program outlined by Cool Runnings. This program starts you off slow and easy with timed segments of walking and jogging that gradually move from mostly walking towards completely jogging a 5k (a.k.a. 3.1 miles).
